It is currently undertaking an opinion poll in Saudi Arabia on gender equality, social and economic rights of women, the participation of women in public life and elections. AWRAD is conducting this poll as part of a regional study on gender issues in Yemen, Tunisia, Libya and Saudi Arabia. The results of the study will be disseminated in a regional workshop organized by the Arab Women’s Leadership Institute (AWLI) – Amman. Activists from 10 Arab countries will attend and will be trained to utilize the results to design campaigns and advocacy activities that promote the status and participation of women in their countries. The poll is being conducted in cooperation with the Center of Poll and Measuring in Riyadh – Saudi Arabia.
